Why, hello there!
Being a Mom to a large number of kids, life gets hectic so I often didn't eat as well as I should.
In the last few years I've really made an attempt to clean up my eating habits. I've been using Livestrong and Myplate to keep things on track and adjust portions accordingly. Discovering that chicken nuggets are not a food group and 20 is not a normal serving size was a little Earth shattering. ;)
I've gained some weight, okay, A LOT of weight, after living through Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) with my last pregnancy, and taking on a new job at a bakery.
The HG made me severely malnourished, and when it's effects wore off, I ate everything in sight to make up for lost calories.
The bakery job didn't help. Who doesn't love freshly baked gluten free peanut butter cookies hot out of the oven?
I've been a member of the LiveStrong site since 2009, but recently was hired to help with their new program, Stronger and have moved into customer service for both Livestrong and Stronger! I am really excited to be on board with such a great team of people, and I look forward to this journey with all of you!.
